EXZELLENTE FORSCHUNG UND LEHRE BEDINGEN EINANDER
MONREPOS ist Ausbildungsstandort der Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz. Sabine Gaudzinski-Windheuser, Leiterin von MONREPOS, ist dort Professorin am Institut für Altertumswissenschaften, Arbeitsbereich Vor- und Frühgeschichtliche Archäologie. Zusammen mit MONREPOS wird die Archäologie der Menschwerdung im dreiteiligen Modul „Pleistozäne Archäologie“ gelehrt. Postdoc-Stipendien
Innovative Projektideen von Nachwuchswissenschaftlern in der Phase nach der Promotion unterstützt die Leibniz-Gemeinschaft durch die regelmäßige Vergabe von Postdoc-Stipendien.
Doctoral scholarship
The Prinz Maximilian zu Wied Foundation, in cooperation with the Leibniz-Zentrum für Archäologie (www.leiza.de), invites application for the Prinz Maximilian zu Wied Scholarship to the value of € 1,200 per month. The scholarship is for the support of doctoral research into any aspect of Palaeolithic archaeology and will be awarded initially for one year and can be prolonged to a total of three years subject to mutual agreement at the end of the first year.
Award of the scholarship is conditional upon the presentation of a completed M.A./Master qualification and also includes bench space at the MONREPOS ArchaeologicalResearch Centre and Museum for Human Behavioural Evolution, Schloss Monrepos, Neuwied, Germany and accommodation in the integrated institute guest house.
