MONREPOS ist Ausbildungsstandort der Johannes Gutenberg-Universit\u00e4t Mainz. Sabine Gaudzinski-Windheuser, Leiterin von MONREPOS, ist dort Professorin am Institut f\u00fcr Altertumswissenschaften, Arbeitsbereich Vor- und Fr\u00fchgeschichtliche Arch\u00e4ologie. Doctoral scholarship<\/h2><\/h2>\t<\/div>

The Prinz Maximilian zu Wied Foundation, in cooperation with the Leibniz-Zentrum f\u00fcr Arch\u00e4ologie (www.leiza.de), invites application for the Prinz Maximilian zu Wied Scholarship to the value of \u20ac 1,200 per month. The scholarship is for the support of doctoral research into any aspect of Palaeolithic archaeology and will be awarded initially for one year and can be prolonged to a total of three years subject to mutual agreement at the end of the first year.<\/p>

Award of the scholarship is conditional upon the presentation of a completed M.A.\/Master qualification and also includes bench space at the MONREPOS ArchaeologicalResearch Centre and Museum for Human Behavioural Evolution, Schloss Monrepos, Neuwied, Germany and accommodation in the integrated institute guest house.<\/p>

MONREPOS works together closely with the Johannes Gutenberg University at Mainz. Sabine Gaudzinski-Windheuser, Head of the MONREPOS institute, is also Professor at the Mainz Institute for Early History in the field of Pre- and Protohistoric Archaeology. Fundamental knowledge of the longest period of human history, an interdisciplinary orientation, scientific methodology and practical know-how are oriented towards the latest research results.
