MONREPOS<\/h1><\/h2>\t<\/div>

MONREPOS is a research museum: at the cutting-edge of archaeological investigation, its mediation and its socio-political discourse are here inseparably interwoven. We are a dependency of the LEIZA - Leibniz-Zentrum f\u00fcr Arch\u00e4ologie<\/a> and a member of the Leibniz-Association<\/a>. For more than 30 years we have been working at Schloss Monrepos (French for \u00bbMy Repose\u00ab), in the historic recreational area between the UNESCO World Heritage Sites \u00bbUpper Middle Rhine Valley\u00ab and \u00bbUpper Germanic-Rhaetian Limes\u00ab.<\/p><\/div>\n\t

Human Roots Award<\/h1><\/h2>\t<\/div>

The Human Roots Award is an international archaeology award. It was created in 2017 and is awarded annually by MONREPOS - The Archaeological Research Centre and Museum of Human Behavioural Evolution at Schloss Monrepos near Neuwied.<\/p>\n
